It’s Not Just the Heat — It’s Your Inner Fire Out of Balance.

Do you feel more irritable lately? Is your skin flaring up, or is your digestion feeling "acidic"? For many people, summer brings more than just sunshine—it brings a surge of Pitta energy that can lead to emotional overwhelm and physical burnout.

When your internal fire is too high, it manifests as frustration, inflammation, and a feeling of being constantly "on edge." This isn't just about the temperature outside; it's about how your unique Ayurvedic constitution reacts to the season.

“Cool the Fire” was created to give you the practical tools to recognize the patterns and douse the flames before they lead to deeper exhaustion.

Meet Your Guide:

Dr. Leena Sripada, ND, AAWC

I’m Dr. Leena, and I’ve spent over 15 years helping individuals navigate frustration and confusion with health. As a naturopathic doctor with extensive training in Ayurveda, I’ve realized that modern health often is so focussed on managing symptoms and it misses the most important piece of the puzzle: you.

This is where Ayurveda changes everything. It isn’t just a collection of ancient tips — it is a 5,000-year-old, time-tested framework designed to help you decode your body’s unique language. It gives us the map to see the patterns in how you react to stress, food, and the world around you.

Instead of guessing why you feel "off," Ayurveda helps you understand why your fire overflows when life gets intense—and more importantly, how to bring it back into balance. I wrote "Cool the Fire" to give you that exact framework. It’s a guide to help you stop fighting against your nature and start working with it, using root-cause solutions that actually stick.

My approach isn't about rigid rules or complicated protocols. It’s about listening. It’s about understanding your unique body type and learning how to realign with the natural rhythms that have been there all along.

When I’m not in the clinic you’ll likely find me practicing what I preach finding small ways to stay cool, grounded, and connected to the world around me.

Still want to know more about

“Cool the Fire”?

I get it. Your to-do list is already long, and the last thing you need is another complicated health protocol that doesn’t work. Let’s address what’s really on your mind.

“I’m already eating healthy and taking supplements. What more can this book tell me?”

Most health books focus strictly on what you put in your body. Cool the Fire focuses on how you digest. If your inner digestive fire (Agni) is weak, even the cleanest organic raw salad can lead to uncomfortable bloating and afternoon fatigue. This book helps you unlock the functional patterns behind your physical symptoms so your healthy habits actually start working for you.

“Is Ayurveda too complicated for my busy life?”

Ayurveda can sound intimidating with its ancient terminology, but its core is beautifully simple: it is about aligning with the natural rhythms around you. I don’t ask you to move to a Himalayan cave. I show you how to execute tiny, high-impact clinical shifts, like choosing the right spices or adjusting your meal spacing, that slip effortlessly into your existing schedule as a busy professional.

“I don’t live in a hot climate. Do I still need this?”

While we use seasonal heat as a guide, “heat” in clinical Ayurveda isn’t just about the physical weather outside. It’s about the intensity of how you live. If you are dealing with professional burnout, chronic stress, or hot emotions like sudden irritability and frustration, your Pitta is likely overflowing regardless of the temperature. These tools are tailored for anyone running a high-intensity lifestyle.

“Is this only for people with South Asian roots?”

While these ancient principles originated in India and are deeply personal to my heritage, the laws of biology and nature are universal. Whether you grew up with these kitchen traditions or are hearing the word “Agni” for the very first time, this simple framework belongs to anyone who wants to understand their body on a practical, deeper level.

“Can’t I just find this info on Google?”

You could, but Google won’t give you an integrated, clinically tested pathway. Cool the Fire takes the confusing guesswork out of the equation. It is a highly curated framework based on 15 years of my professional work as a naturopathic doctor, designed specifically to take you from a list of random symptoms to a clear, personalized map for healing.

The truth is, you don’t need more raw information. You need a better framework.

Start aligning your routine in less than ten minutes a day.

"I never realized how much my summer irritability was linked to my diet and lifestyle. Dr. Leena's guidance helped me stay cool and calm even during the most hectic weeks of summer heat."

Maya R.

"Simple, practical, and so effective. The cooling rituals are now a permanent part of my morning routine. I feel significantly less burnt out than last summer. And the beauty is that it was actually easy and intuitive."
